『夢』は大きく　『念い』は熱く

　毎朝、朝礼で経営理念を唱和します。その際、順番に鏡を見るようにしています。しかし、なぜ鏡をの前に立つのか意味がわかっていない社員が中にいました。鏡の前に立っているのに、鏡を見ていなかったり、ただ立っているのだけでは何の意味もありません。意味を考えてください。意味がないことはしません。
　鏡の前に立って、服装、表情、心を見るのです。暗い顔をしていれば、周りのみんなも暗い気持ちになります。鏡を見ることによって、自分の中身を見てください。心を見て、いつも明るく、元気に、笑顔でいれるように、意識をしてください。服装も、表情も、決めるのは自分の心です。『　見えない心の様子が、見える顔の表情になって表れます。　』見えないものが大切です。朝、１番に鏡をみて、モチベーションをあげて、１日元気に、明るく、笑顔で行動をお願いします。

　誰の話を聞いても、報告、連絡、相談が徹底していないと強く感じます。変更は構いません。しかし、変更や状況が変わったときにはすぐに言う。誰かが言ってくれるだろう、言うだろうと思っているうちに行動するのです。受け身では困ります。常に自分が発信者になってください。情報を発信しなかったら、損はないかもしれません。でも、周りに与えれば、必ず自分に倍になってかえってきます。発信者になってください。行動です。一生懸命は『生きている証』です。積極的に生きてください。

　１人の時の時間をどう過ごすか！１人のときに、いかに弱い自分と闘って、一生懸命頑張れるかでその人の人生が変わります。誰も見ていないからいいやという気持で、怠けていては困ります。誰も見ていないときこそ、こつこつと頑張ってください。弱い気持ちと闘って、努力をしてください。そこで頑張れるか、頑張れないかで、運命は変わります。誰も見ていないところで頑張っていれば必ず神様が見ていてくれます。努力は決して裏切りません。絶対に自分に返ってきます。周りに還元されます。
　何より、自分自身が一番見ています。自信がつき積極的になれます。

　また、今の現状に決して満足しないでください。あたり前だと思わないでください。変化が大切、その時代、その時に必要な人になってください。
　先日、山梨県内の企業様へ工場見学にお伺いしました。社員１５名という大所帯でお伺いしましたが、本当に快くお引受け頂き、丁寧にご説明をして頂きました。　『ありがとうございました。』　現場を拝見し、　「見える化」があちらこちらで実行され、本当に関心することばかりでした。同時に、弊社はまだまだレベルが低いと痛感しました。今の現状が当たり前と思っていても、周りをみるとそれが当たり前でないことがわかります。自分たちが思っているよりも、周りは進んでいます。私たちは現状に満足することなく、常に変化し、改善をしていかなければなりません。　改善、改革は永遠です。　勉強は行動。良いと思ったことはすぐに実行です。そして、レベルをもっともっと上げていくのです。今よりも、もっともっとという気持ちで、積極的に行動をお願いします。
　
　『たくさんの人が見学したくなる工場にします。そして、誰がいつ見ても、今誰が何をしているかが一目でわかるような工場を目指します。』




Personal Time

How do you spend your alone time? A person’s life is decided by how hard he works and fight against his weaknesses when he is alone. Settling for less than best or being lazy when no one is watching are serious problems. Please be diligent particularly when no one is watching. Fight against your weaknesses and work hard. Fate is changed by how hard you can or cannot work during these times. God will see how hard you work when no one is watching. Hard work will never deceive you. Your efforts now will reap rewards for you later. More than anyone or anything else, you are the one watching yourself the most.

It is possible to become confident and proactive. First of all, do not let yourself be satisfied with current conditions. Do not think that something is normal or to be expected. Change is important. Please become someone who is vital for that period and that time.

The other day I, along with 15 of my employees, visited a company in our prefecture. Although our group was large, we were greeted warmly and treated very politely. Thank you. As we looked around the facilities, I saw many things that really struck my interest and realized that my company’s level is still very low. Looking at other companies, I realize that those things here that I think are normal are actually not. Those around you are progressing faster than you think. We must not let ourselves be satisfied with current conditions but instead constantly seek change and reform. Improvement is endless. Study is action. Imitate the good you see around you and increase the level you work at. I ask you to be ever more proactive. We will become a company that many people want to visit. Moreover, we will be a company where no matter who you are, simply by looking at one of our employees you will know what they do. This is true particularly for the factory.

　

　ジットリサイクルインクナイターが無事終了しました。１万２５００人もの方にご来場頂きました。降水確率８０％だったにも関らず、終了間際まで降ることもなく、第19期、幸先が良いスタートをきることができました。本当に私は運がいい。普通に考えれば降水確率８０％であれば、確実に雨が降ってしまいますが8回から少雨試合終了後に大雨でした。これも皆さんの熱い思いが届いたからだと思います。本当に有難うございます。各関係者様、先祖、社員、そして山梨の皆様に感謝です。





　そして、会場では沢山の笑顔を拝見しました。輝いた目をして選手を見る少年や、家族で楽しそうに笑っている姿、お酒を飲みながら嬉しそうにメガホンを振っているお父さんの姿を拝見し、私も本当にうれいし気持になりました。家族と、同僚と、恋人と・・沢山の人がこの野球を通して、コニュニケーションをとり、笑顔になってくれたと信じています。ご来場頂いた皆様、本当に有難うございました。社員達の楽しそうな笑顔、本当に嬉しかったです。







　そんな中、会場へ足を運んで頂いたお客様よりうれしいメールを頂きました。ご紹介します。

　またいつかジット様のお力を借りて公式戦が開催されることを図々しくお願いしたいなと思い一筆差し上げた次第です。ありがとうございました。 』

　また社員も朝礼で子供さんから『お父さんの会社凄いね』　と言われ凄く嬉しかった。『自分の会社に誇りを感じた』と何人もが発言していくれました。
　本当にうれしく、やってよかったと実感しました。そして、またこのような機会を作れるように、もっともっと頑張っていこうと改めて決意致しました。これからも、多くの皆様に必要とされ、もっともっと沢山の方の笑顔が見れるような、そして沢山の方に幸せを感じて頂けるような会社を作っていきます。そして、　社員全員が、『　胸を張ってジットといえるような、夢のあるでっかい会社をつくります　』。何事にも全力投球。チームジットで、行動をお願いします。　　有難うございました。






JIT Night at the Ballpark

[This past Wednesday], JIT’s Night at the Ballpark went off without a hitch. 12,500 people attended the game which, despite the 80% chance of rain that day, stayed dry until the very end. This seems a good omen for JIT’s 19th year in business. I truly feel very lucky. If you think about it, with an 80% chance of rain it would be natural for rain to fall. However, aside from a slight misting, the heavy rain held off until the game had ended. I believe this is because everyone’s passionate feelings [about the game] reached [God]. Thank you so very much. To each person affiliated with the event, to the ancestors, to my employees, and to everyone in Yamanashi, I am very grateful.

I was so happy as I looked around at the game and saw all the smiling faces: little kids watching the players, families laughing together, fathers drinking their alcohol while yelling through their megaphones, etc. It was a chance for family members, coworkers, lovers, etc. to come together and talk and laugh while watching the game. Thank you so much, everyone who came to the game. The smiles of my employees made me so happy.

I would now like to share with you a letter we received from one of our customers who attended the game:

“July 2, 2009
The baseball game held at Kose Stadium came out of the passionate thoughts and feelings of [JIT's] president. As the father of two young sons, I love baseball (I, myself, am a long-time fan of the Giants). Moreover, I was particularly excited to showing my kids the raw excitement of players such as Aoki, Takeda, and Uchigawa. I was also moved by the mounting fever as the game progressed. I wish to shamelessly ask that JIT hold other such events in the future. Thank you.”

During morning assembly the follow day, one employee shared a story about hearing kids say, “Dad, your company’s really cool, huh?” I had many employees tell me how proud they were of our company. I am so happy that we held this event and will work even harder in order to provide such an event again in the future. We will offer events again in the future. I shall continue to build a company that is needed by many people and that brings smiles and happiness to the faces of those around it. Finally, I will create a company whose employees are proud to say they work for. No matter what the job, I will give it my all. To the members of Team JIT: please act.

　営業さんはジットのエースです。ピッチャーです。営業がいるからお客様に商品が届けられ、社会にも貢献ができます。販売なくして企業はありません。営業がすべてお客様の要求をどうやってみたすかです。

　ある新入社員が、「営業さんが頑張っているのに、私は何もできなくて、それでもお給料をもらっているのが申し訳ない」と涙を流しながら話をしていました。営業以外はどうやったら営業のみんなが、自信を持って、納期通りに、品質の良いものが売れるかを常に考えて行動をしてください。営業が言ったことはすべてyesです。できない理由を考えている暇はありません。いつも、どんな時も、「どうしたらできるか」を考えて行動をしてください。営業が言うことはお客様が言っていることと同じです。お客様が最優先です。絶対に忘れずに行動をお願いします。

　１番の課題は報告、連絡、相談です。東京他各地にいる営業と、いかに密に連絡をとり、その要望にスピードを持って行動ができるかです。スピードある行動をするには危機感を持つことが大切です。危機感があれば、自分からかかわります。どうしたらできるかを必死で考えます。まだまだ全員必死さや、一生懸命さが足りません。一生懸命を判断をするのは、周りです。いくら自分が頑張っていると思っていても、周りに伝わっていなければ、それは一生懸命とは言えません。誰が見ても「あいつ頑張っているな、応援したいな」と思うくらいに必死に行動をしてください。これは全事業部共通です。

　目標は必ず必達です。チームジットが一丸となって、今この瞬間を全力投球をお願いします。一丸になり、全員が全力を尽くせば、目標は必ず必達できます。営業が１番。全員で行動をお願いします。　当然私が営業本部長で世界を駆け巡ります。

　本日より１９期がスタートしました。昨日は半日、私が社員全員にジットの歴史から、私の思い、営業についての話しを全力で話をしました。そして、社員全員で、１８期の反省と１９期に向けての決意をあらたにしました。

　ジットを設立して丸１８年が経ちました。あっという間です。創業時は５名の社員で、つい３・４年前までは、十数名の規模でした。それが今は社員が８０数名にまでなりました。ここまでくるには、様々な問題があり、様々な方との出会いがありました。数年前の人生最大のトリプルピンチのとき、私を救ってくださった弁護士の先生、支えてくれた家族、そして何より一緒に走り回って、がんばってくれた社員がいたから今があります。壁が立ちはだかったときに逃げずに立ち向かって、行動をしてきたから今のジットがあり、今の私がいます。人より能力はありませんが、熱い思いと、行動は誰にも負けない自信があります。何事においても行動が一番です。

　振り返ったとき必ず自分の、会社の歴史ができています。これからのジットは、今ここにいる皆さんで作っていくものです。また数年後振り返ったとき、あのときも頑張っていたんだと、思えるくらいに、今を全力で、一生懸命生きてください。何事もスムーズにいくことはありません。問題に出会った時、その問題にどう立ち向かうかで、未来が決まります。逃げずに立ち向かえば、自分も、周りも、未来も明るく、幸せになります。　　どれだけ熱い気持ちを持って行動ができるかです。１９期も一瞬の自分の幸せよりも、未来のみんなの幸せを考えて、いつも全力投球で行動をお願いします。昨日の決意を強く胸に刻み、今この時から行動をお願いします。　　『今からが本番、嬉しく楽しい気持ちでいっぱいです』　　　　

　

　イベント、本を読んで、話を聞いて、研修を受けて、と様々なところで、感謝の気持ちが芽生えます。両親に感謝、会社に感謝、友達に感謝、生かされていることに感謝・・・世の中は感謝であふれています。しかし、人間はすぐにその感謝の気持ちを忘れて、自分勝手になったり、我慢ができなくなりがちです。ちょっと調子が良いからといって、自分はできると勘違いをして、我が物顔になる人もいます。でも違います。人間は決して１人では生きられません。１人では何もできないのです。感謝の気持ちを感じたらそれを継続してください。継続は力。３日継続できても、４日目から気持ちが薄れます。すぐに戻ってしまうのです。行動できていない自分に、前の自分に戻っていることをしっかり認識して、継続してください。気付いたことを１日でも長く継続する。それのためにも、本を読んで、周りの人から話を聞いて、勉強をするのです。人間は意識しないと、いつも楽な方へ、楽な方へ逃げてしまいます。しっかり強い思いを持って、１日でも長く継続をして、自分の人間性を高め、周りを幸せにしてください。お願いします。

  本日で第１８期が終わり明日は１９期です。もう１８年が過ぎました。今年の新入社員の高校卒が18歳です。ここまでこれたことに感謝、生かされていることに感謝です。『夢』　にむかってまだまだ全力投球、今を大切に明日からも行動します。

　本日は妻の誕生日です。『おめでとう、そしてありがとうございます。感謝』

　山梨を元気に、イベント第三弾、三郡ホールの感謝祭を土曜日に行いました。総勢５８０人のお客様が足を運んでくださいました。本当に有難うございます。甲府ホールのイベントに引き続きチームジットで全力投球で頑張りました。協力会社の皆様にも本当に感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。たくさんの人の笑顔、楽しそうな皆様の顔を拝見でき、私も本当にうれいし気持ちになりました。　近所のおばさん、おじさんも沢山来ていただきました。社員やパートさんも家族や友達と来ていただき、親子、夫婦、仲間との親睦を深められたようでした。







　イベントは段取りが一番です。そしてイベントに関わる全員が一生懸命で一致団結して、お客様にいかに楽しんでもらえるかを考え行動をすることが必要です。チームジット一丸になって、１回１回の反省を、次に生かすように、第１１弾まで、全力投球でお願いします。継続は力　継続できるよう今を全力投球で来年もイベント開催できるよう行動します。



Festival of Thanks at Sangun Hall


This past Saturday, JIT Ceremony held its second “Festival of Thanks” of the year as a way to envigorate Yamanashi. Approximately 580 people attended the festival which was held at Sangun Hall. I am truly grateful to everyone who came as well as those who worked the event, giving their all just as their colleagues did the week before at Kofu Hall. I was so happy to be able to see so many smiling, laughing faces at the event as well as the many elderly who live nearby. It was also wonderful to see the friends and family members who my part time and full time workers brought with them to the event.

The program is the number one important thing in a festival. Moreover, it is essential that the workers there work hard as one throughout the entire event and constantly think of ways to make the customers happy. We will continue to give our all throughout all of our events this year, working together as one unit and reviewing each event as it happens. Perseverence takes strength. We will persevere and will act in a way to continue to offer events like those of these past couple of weeks.


　

　先日も、東京より、大手企業の社長様をはじめとする幹部役員の方が、弊社へ来社してくださいました。本当に感謝いたします。実際にジットの熱い想いを、従業員一名一名から感じて頂き、どのような環境で製造をしているのかを見て頂きました。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　そして弊社の品質保証部からも、ご説明をさせて頂きました。沢山のお話をさせて頂き、私たちも気づくことがたくさんあり、勉強をさせていただきました。　「人は心」　の精神に基づき、品質最優先で、お客様に満足と幸せを届けられるように精進していくことを改めて決意致しました。必ず花を開かせ、実を結ばせます。

　来社した社長様の秘書様より、来社する前に、「クールビズで失礼しますが、ご承知おきください。」との一報を頂きました。その気遣いにとても感動しました。どれだけ小さいことに気づけるかです。大きい、目で見てすぐわかることは誰でもできます。いかに小さなところに気づき、気遣えるかです。気が付く人は気が付く。気が回ります。掃除も、仕事もできます。何も考えずに、毎日同じ時間を過ごしていたのでは、気が付けるはずがありません。小さなことを積み重ねていくことに意味があります。気付きが成長に繋がります。周りに目を向け行動をお願いします。



Notices

The other day, the president of a prominent company, along with several of his executive brance, paid our office a visit. I am truly very grateful that they felt our employees’ passion and saw the environment our products are made in. Our QC department also gave a presentation [about their work and how it fits in to JIT as a whole]. Through the presentations we made and things that were brought to our attention, this visit proved to be a valuable opportunity for us to study. I once again feel a zealous determination to bring contentment and happiness to our customers by focusing first on quality. We must base our actions on the idea of “people as the core.” We will see the fruit of our labor.

Before he visited our office, I received a message from the president’s secretary asking that “although it is in direct conflict with the Cool Biz (Japanese government campaign aimed at reducing companies’ use of air conditioners), we hope you will understand [and use your air conditioner while the president is visiting].” I was very moved by this request. It’s all a matter of how closely you can pay attention. Anyone can notice big things but are you able to notice and be effected by small things? People who are able to notice things are people who do notice things. Pay attention to the small things, both in cleaning and in your work. If you are simply passing today without really thinking, simply passing the time in the same way you did yesterday, you will not notice the things around you. There is meaning in amassing small things. The notice of small things is directly connected with personal growth. I ask you to pay attention to what is around you and to act.

　最近仕事をしていても、日報を読んでいても、１円、１０円というお金、1個、１つ、1枚のものをどう捉えているんだろうと考えてしまうことが多々あります。全てお金です。会社のお金であれば尚更、もっともっとシビアになってください。自分のお金、はしっかり計算するのに、会社のお金やものを大切にできないのでは困ります。１円を大切にできない人は必ず１円で泣きます。１円もちりと積もれば、１００円、１０００円、１万円、１００万円となります。１円、１個の重みを感じて、１円こそ、１個こそ大切に扱ってください。物を大事にする人は　人も大事にします。お金は『徳』。素直な心に集まります。　

　勉強とは行動です。いくら口で「感動しました、勉強になりました。」と言っても、それを自分に置き換えて、今の現状に置き換えて行動ができなければ、意味がありません。反省も同じです。いかに弱い自分と戦い、未来を信じて行動できるかです。いくら社長が、いくら上司が、いくら周りが何を言っても、自分を変えることができるのは自分しかありません。反省は行動。習慣を変えること、自分を変えることは簡単なことではありません。継続です。継続すれば、それが習慣になります。いかに弱く、甘い自分に負けずに行動できるかです。勉強したら自分に置き換えて行動する。反省をしたら、すぐに行動する。すべては行動です。行動しかありません。周りは行動をみてあなたを判断します。有言実行。行動をお願いします。



Nothing Without Action

Lately, no matter how hard I see my employees working or how many daily reports I read, I still find myself wondering how my employees truly perceive the meaning of 1 cent, one cartridge, one piece of paper. Everything comes down to money. When it comes to the company’s money, please be even more severe about it. Even if you are careful about your own money, it is a big problem if you cannot value the company’s money and property. People who cannot value one cent will cry at [having only] one cent. If you amass those one cents, they will turn into a dollar, 10 dollars, a thousand dollars, etc. Please understand the importance of one cent or one cartridge and treat them with care. People who value things will also value people. Money is virtue and will amass itself in the hearts of those who are meek and unprejudiced.

Study is action. No matter how much you say, “I was moved by such and such,” or “I studied such and such,” it is meaningless if you cannot use it to change yourself or the present situation. The same is true for reflection. It is all a matter of how much you fight against your weaknesses and how much you believe in the future. No matter how much I say or your supervisors say or those around you say, the only person who can change you is you. Reflection is action. It is not easy to change your habits or yourself. It’s all about perseverance. If you persevere, it will become a habit. It’s a question of whether you can beat your weak, pampered self. Study and use it to change yourself. Once you have reflected, act. It’s all about action. There is nothing beyond action. People are watching what you do and judging you. Follow up on what you say. I ask for action.

　日報を読んでいても、部下のことではなく、自分自身のことに一生懸命な人がいます。自分が一生懸命なのは当たり前です。上司は特に、もっと周りのことを気にしてください。親は何があっても、目線は子供です。自分がいくら辛い思いをしても、いくら自分が我慢をしても、子供のために一生懸命になります。上司も同じです。部下の目、表情、しぐさ、髪型・・気になることは沢山あります。自分のことに一生懸命になるだけではなく、もっと周りの人を気にかけてください。かかわってください。それが上司であり、チームジットです。仕事だけではこれからはやっていけません。人間性が１番です。人がすべてです。行動をお願いします。

　最近、私はとても運がいいと感じます。これはきっと故父と故弟がそばにいてくれるからです。そしいて人にも恵まれています。普通では考えられない方々にお会いする機会を頂き、お話をさせて頂いています。本当に本当に感謝しています。縁が縁を結び、今こうして私が生かされ、今の私がいます。最近、それを身をもって体験をしています。この感謝の気持ちを忘れずに、このご縁を必ず花を咲かし、実らせてチームジットみんなを幸せにします。

　

It’s Not Just About You

[Reading the daily reports from my managerial staff, I noticed that] instead of writing about those in their department they only wrote about themselves. While it is natural to focus on oneself, I ask you – in particular the managers – to be more aware of your surroundings. Parents, no matter what is happening around them, always have their children in sight. No matter how much they are suffering or how much they have to endure, for the sake of their children they will work hard. The same [should be] true for supervisors. Whether it is the eyes, the facial expressions, the posture, etc. of those in your department, pay more attention to those around you. Do not focus solely on yourself but notice things about others. Please be concerned [about others]. This is what it means to be a supervisor in Team JIT. We cannot move forward if we only focus on work. Humanity is number one. People are everything. I ask for action.

I have felt very lucky lately, undoubtedly because my deceased father and brother are by my side. I am being blessed by them. I have met and talked with people I could not have imagined meeting. I am so very grateful. The present me is a direct result of how I live. Lately, I have had many personal experiences for which I am very grateful. I will go forward cultivating the connections I have made and, not forgetting a sense of gratitude, I will make everyone happy.
