 The ink remaining amount display may take over the ink remaining amount display before replacement.
You can prevent problems by updating to the new firmware or by replacing with the correct replacement procedure.

[Firmware update method]
(XNUMX) Select settings from the printer menu
② Select firmware update
③ Select "Update" (The 6-digit alphanumeric displayed below is the current version.)
④ Select "Start Confirmation"
⑤ Select "Start immediately"
⑥ Select "Agree"
⑦ When the firmware update changes from preparing to updating to updating and returns to the home screen, the process is complete.
*Please confirm that it is different from the alphanumeric characters in ③.

Updating the firmware will not break your printer.
Also, if you are not connected to the internet environment, you cannot update.Thank you in advance for your confirmation.
If you cannot update even if you have an internet environment, please download it from the Epson website.

[How to replace the correct ink]

(XNUMX) The printer will display "The amount of ink is below the limit and needs to be replaced." (Photo: Black ink) Select "Remedy".

② Move to the "Confirm" screen. Select "Replace Now".

③ Moves to the "Cartridge replacement" screen. Select "Next Step".

(XNUMX) Replace the ink cartridge promptly according to the guidance. Select "Start Exchange".

Make sure that the ink cartridge holder has moved to the position shown on the right in the figure below.

⑥ When ink is set, the x mark disappears as shown in the photo below.When the exchange is complete, select "Exchange Complete".

⑦ It is not a genuine product.It will be displayed. Select "Next Description".

⑧ The guide text is displayed. Select "Next Description".

⑨ Do you want to use it as it is?Is displayed, select "Yes".

⑩ When the tank is full, the replacement is complete.
