【All models】The print will be faint or the colors will be printed differently.

This symptom is caused by clogging of the printhead.
Please try the following methods.

Perform nozzle check and cleaning

By performing nozzle check pattern printing (confirmation pattern printing), you can check which color of ink is causing clogging.

If there is ink that is clogged as a result of nozzle check pattern printing (confirmation pattern printing), clean it.

After cleaning is completed, perform nozzle check pattern printing (confirmation pattern printing) again.However, cleaning consumes ink.Please note that the ink may run out if you clean it too many times.

If the clogging is not cleared, wait at least 6 hours, then clean and check the nozzle again.
Please check if it can be improved.

* Please refer to the printer's instruction manual for nozzle check pattern printing and cleaning methods.
(Canon only) Perform strong cleaning

There is a more effective and powerful cleaning for Canon printers.If normal cleaning does not help, it may be possible to improve by performing strong cleaning.However, it consumes more ink than cleaning, so please do it up to 2 times and then leave it for 6 hours.
Check if it is set normally

Check if the ink cartridge is installed normally.If the installed ink cartridge is in a floating state, ink will not be supplied and printing defects will occur.

When installing the ink cartridge, press the ink cartridge until you hear a click.

Check for dirt

If foreign matter or ink sticks adhere to the ink outlet, it will not be supplied to the head, leading to printing defects.Wipe it off with a tissue or the like.
If you attach the printer to the printer with dust attached, the dust may adhere to the contact area with the cartridge on the printer head side and ink may not come out even if you replace it with a new cartridge.

* If you wipe it off with a hard object or protrusion, you may damage the ejection port or the ink suction part of the printer head.
* Because the printer head is vulnerable to shocks, handle with care.
