What is an ink cartridge collection program?

The manufacturing department continues to make prototypes every day until late at night in order to realize recycling, and the quality assurance department continues to inspect over and over again with strict eyes so that customers can use it with peace of mind. rice field.The sales department ran around the country and installed a collection box.Then, the passion of each and every employee took shape, and in 1999, we realized the recycling of ink cartridges for the first time in the world.Currently, we have installed collection boxes at more than 23,000 locations nationwide.
In Japan, 1 million ink cartridges are distributed annually, of which 57% are discarded. In order to collect as many ink cartridges as possible and make effective use of important resources, Jit collects 1% of the total, 29 million pieces a year, and suppresses about 3,003 tons of CO2,295.This is the same amount of CO2 absorbed by about 1 Sugi trees in one year.In addition, the world consumes 15 billion ink cartridges annually.Therefore, we will protect the global environment by expanding our bases to European countries and the United States, using the Asian regions such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore as a foothold.We will recycle about 5 million ink cartridges, which is 7% of the world's annual ink cartridge consumption, and reduce CO2 emissions by about 15 tons.We will reduce the number of ink cartridges discarded all over the world, reuse as many as possible and revive them as valuable products, and expand the circle of recycling all over the world to protect the children of the future.

With the spread and higher performance of inkjet printers, the number of ink cartridges used is increasing year by year.However, most of them are incinerated or landfilled as general household waste.When each ink cartridge is incinerated, about 1g of CO110 is emitted from each Epson ink cartridge and about 58g of CO2 is emitted from a Canon ink cartridge.
