Happy New Year. I hope that this year will be a year of further progress for you all.
Something very happy happened early in the new year.
I received feedback from all the students at Shinkonya Elementary School in Kofu City, where I gave a lecture at the end of last year. I read the entire lecture, and from the first grade to the sixth grade, they wrote down their impressions in their own words.
Our company runs the Niko Niko Kids Nursery School and Himawari Kids, and I am always inspired by the children who attend the school.
At the lecture at Shinkonya Elementary School, I received a lot of energy and strength from the people who listened to me attentively! I will do my best for the community this year as well.
One of my new goals for this year is to meet as many children as possible in Yamanashi Prefecture. To that end, I would like to give a visiting lecture.
I will personally visit and speak to students at elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools and universities. If you are interested, please contact JIT Group Co., Ltd.

On Sunday, November 11th, we participated in the annual relay race of the Koshu Fujikawa Festival. This year, we participated in the invitational division. Six elite members of the JIT Group took part in the race. They moved to each relay point with their supporters and started warming up.

Otoguro-san from the 2nd district

Wakao-san from the 3rd district

Tanabe-san from the 5th district
It's finally time to start. I've experienced this moment many times before, but I feel the same way as the athletes and it's always a tense moment for me.
The runner for the first section was Watanabe. He got off to a good start!

▲▼ Watanabe at the start

This time too, everyone carried JIT's spirit on their sashes and passed them on! I also stood along the course in the second section and cheered them on, and was really moved by the runners' full-power sprints.
Team JIT has the determination to never give up, no matter how strong the other participating teams are.
We received a lot of support from the local people, who said, "Go JIT!" Thank you very much.

▲From Watanabe-san in the 1st section to Otoguro-san in the 2nd section

▲▼From Mr. Otoguro in the 2nd district to Mr. Wakao in the 3rd district

▲The start of the 4th section was brought forward, but Higuchi was giving it his all!

▲▼From Mr. Higuchi in the 4th district to Mr. Tanabe in the 5th district

▲▼6th Section: Mr. Ashizawa at the finish line

We were able to complete the race safely thanks to everyone's strong determination. Team JIT's motto is to always give it your all, whether it's work or sports! By participating in local events, we were able to enjoy interacting with local people. Not only that, but by spending time together outside of work, we were able to deepen the bonds within JIT. In this way, we were able to complete the race safely without any injuries again this year, deepen our bonds as Team JIT, and receive support from everyone in the community - we are truly grateful for everything. Thank you so much. Team JIT will continue to give it our all, with the motto of "One Heart!", and contribute to the local community!

The final place I would like to introduce in this German Beteldorf visit is the Betel Foundation and Betel Headquarters.

The Bethel Foundation.

People from all over the world visit Bethel.

I was able to meet with the president of the Bethel Foundation, Dr. Ulrich. I had tried to make an appointment before leaving Japan, but it didn't work out. However, I met him at the Sunday service and was able to learn directly about the management of Bethel. I was really lucky to meet the president at the place I happened to be at.

Bethel headquarters is Danquart.

▲▼At the entrance there was a collection box for used stamps. These stamps create jobs for people with disabilities and generate funds.

There were some men in wheelchairs in front of the office. They heard about Betel and moved here with their families from Russia.

For us who came from Japan, they spent the whole day showing us around Bethel from morning until evening. Thank you so much.

Our guide, Mr. Seven Jobsch, is also a Christian and said he chose his current job out of love for his neighbors.

To sum up my visit to Bethel, I had the opportunity to meet with a woman who has been living at Bethel for a long time, despite many twists and turns, with people with disabilities.
In Bethel, there is no border between "disabled" and "able-bodied." This concept has supported the foundation of the town's development, which is why the current population is half able-bodied and half disabled. Behind the stable coexistence of disabled and able-bodied people and medical activities throughout its 160-year history lies the spirit of service, "love for the Christian God," and the focus on epilepsy patients, which was the catalyst for starting the activities. What I felt during my visit to Bethel this time was that a welfare approach that does not seek profit can become a town. Many realizations made me even stronger in my desire to "create a town like Bethel in Yamanashi."
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the many people who helped me during my time here, including Chairman Paul Ulrich. Thank you very much.

It was Sunday and the whole town of Bethel was closed. I walked from the old town to the area around Bielefeld station.

Zion Society

For the first time in my life, I attended a Protestant church Sunday service. The sermon that day was given by Pastor Paul Ulrich, who is also the chairman of the Bethel headquarters. I was able to meet the person I had been hoping to speak to during my visit to Bethel.

Sparrenburg Castle overlooks the town of Bethel.

This castle protected the town of Bielefeld in the 13th century.

Take a break in a park with a beautiful view.

An apartment where disabled and able-bodied people live together.

Nursing home.

hospital.

A visit to the ink section of Bethel's supermarket.

This is a collection box for used cartridges located at an electronics store near Bielefeld Station.

Bethel has many farms and pastures, and animal therapy is also carried out there, making use of the location.
In addition, there were many sports facilities that clearly showed how athletics were actively carried out in addition to music and artistic activities under the spirit of "giving people every chance to discover their talents," which was important in Mr. von Bodelschwing's time. There is even something called the Betel Olympics, and there are swimming pools, athletics stadiums, soccer fields, gymnasiums, and facilities dedicated to horse riding, kyudo, and archery.

For the smiles of all
One of our company's initiatives is "Let's make Yamanashi a welfare prefecture!"
The disability employment support center "Taiyo," run by the NPO JIT-Kai, employs 120 people with disabilities, and the child development support center "Himawari Kids" cares for seven children with developmental challenges.
Personally, I have been serving as chairman of Special Olympics Nippon Yamanashi for the past three years.
I had the good fortune to learn about the town of "Bethel" in Germany, where 2 people with disabilities work, and decided I had to visit and see it for myself.
At Bethel, we have a philosophy of "work" over "charity" and "labor" over "disability insurance." I was reminded of the significance of "work" for people with disabilities.

▲Staying at a hotel that is one of the vocational training facilities for people with disabilities

▲The Japanese garden in the hotel. The Emperor and Empress visited in 2003.

▲ Antiques, furniture, books, toys, clothes and all kinds of everyday items are on sale. Most of the proceeds are donated to facilities for people with disabilities and those who are related to them.

▲Collection box in front of the store.

▲A vocational training center where people with severe disabilities work

▲I received an angel made of wood. Thank you!

The construction of the JIT Group Co., Ltd. headquarters, which began a year ago, has now been completed. At the completion ceremony on October 1th, I was able to unveil the headquarters, which is filled with my thoughts, to all of those who have helped me on a daily basis.
The place where the JIT Group headquarters was built is where I was born and where I grew up. When I was in elementary school, I decided to become a president here, and I have kept that thought in my heart ever since.
When I started JIT, I set five goals ("Build our own office building," "Become a manufacturer," "Create five companies for five employees," "Become debt-free," and "Take over the business in 30 years"), but I still have many more dreams and goals.
I'm really excited to be able to take on the next step from this special place.
This year I reached the milestone of turning 60, but my life is still ahead of me.
I feel like I've finally reached the starting line.

At night, the Jet Blue can be seen from Fujikawa Town.

In the next issue, we will report on the completion ceremony that everyone attended. Please look forward to it!

On August 8th, we held the first JIT Group company information session of this term. Although we were worried about bad weather due to the typhoon, it didn't rain and about 30 students participated in person and online.

The JIT Group will split into two companies in the 34th fiscal year, and we are working hard every day to change and grow as the new JIT Co., Ltd. and the JIT Group. We hope that you will learn about the company's philosophy and management philosophy, get a feel for what kind of company it is and what kind of employees work there, and become interested in what you want to do at JIT. The roundtable discussion, which included eight employees from first-year employees to executives, was very lively. It was very impressive to see the students taking notes as they listened directly to the employees about the real things they wanted to know.

We at the JIT Group are committed to spreading energy and smiles from Yamanashi to the world, and from the world to Yamanashi, and to working towards becoming a company that contributes to society through our 10 businesses: recycling, weddings and funerals, welfare for the disabled, food, nursery schools, medical healthcare, reuse, agriculture, tourism, and industrial waste.
From Yamanashi to the world, and from the world to Yamanashi. We will continue to work at full speed to make Yamanashi a "welfare prefecture," a "tourism prefecture," and an "environmental prefecture." We are looking for people who share JIT's vision and want to join us in building the future. If you are interested, please feel free to contact JIT's recruitment department (TEL: 055-280-8105).

Recently, I attended the general meeting of Kishinkai, which is made up of JIT Ceremony's partner companies. Kishinkai holds two meetings and two social events every year. Representatives from over 2 companies, including Chairman Mori-san, gathered, and I gave a report on the direction of the future ceremony and the latest developments.

Recently, we were asked to hold a funeral for the founder of a company that represents Yamanashi Prefecture, and we held the ceremony at JIT Ceremony. I shared with him my thoughts at the wake and funeral, the business partnership between our company and our partner companies, my thoughts on my monthly overseas business trips and my future direction, and finally, having turned 60 last month, what I really want to do, and the specific actions I am taking based on my philosophy.

▲▼A look at the social gathering

▲▼Suddenly, magician Sho Mizuno appeared and performed a magic trick. It was my first time seeing professional magic and I was constantly amazed and impressed.

▲▼And at the end of the social gathering, I was surprised with a cake, a red kimono, and 60 bright red roses. It was an unexpected surprise, and I was really surprised, but also very touched.

My life partner and representative of JIT Ceremony, Hiroko, also sent a message of thanks for all she has done so far and asked for everyone's continued support in the future to ensure peace of mind for the people of Yamanashi Prefecture.
60 years old, the XNUMXth birthday. Now is the start of my life.
From Yamanashi to the world, and from the world to Yamanashi.
Yamanashi Prefecture is a welfare prefecture.
Yamanashi Prefecture is a tourist prefecture.
Yamanashi Prefecture is an environmentally friendly prefecture.
I will continue to run at full speed so that we can make it a reality.
Thank you to everyone at Kameshinkai. I am so grateful.
